Brief Commentary on Exodus 29

by Matt Carter
I notice in Exodus 29 that the LORD delivered His people so that He might dwell with them. In verses 45 and 46, two statements at the beginning are repeated at the end. The first is that God will dwell among the people of Israel. The second is that He will be their God. In between these is the central theme of Exodus that they shall know that I am the LORD who delivered them from Egypt. Delivered so that God may dwell with us. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 repeats this deliverance for the purpose of dwelling theme now for non-Jewish people as well.
