What I notice in Exodus 8 is that Pharaoh acknwoledges God. Twice Pharaoh asks Moses to pray for him. Sometimes, God is impossible to ignore. Repentance and submitting to the LORD, however, require a lot more of us than a mere acknowledgement of God's existence.
