I notice in Exodus 2 that in verse 2 Moses is said to be 'beautiful' (NASB) or 'a fine child' (ESV).
The Hebrew word here is the same term used in Genesis 1 to declare that the creation was good. This is why
Stephen in Acts 7:20 says about Moses that 'he was good, to God.' It is not the case that Moses was saved
because he was extra super special. Instead, his parents saw his specialness, because he was, like all children,
created by God and given to his parents as a gift.
