Brief Commentary on Galatians 4

by Matt Carter
What I notice in Galatians 4 is that Paul is using a similar analogy between Sarah and Hagar as Jesus did in Matthew 17:24-27 between the children of a king and the citizenry of a kingdom. The children of God are not obligated to pay the temple tax, but, as Jesus instructed Peter, still are looking for ways to advance the kingdom of God.
