What I notice and relate to in Genesis 25 is the allure of lentil stew after Esau had spent all day walking around outdoors. Maybe that's odd, but one of our family traditions is to make a simple lentil stew outdoors while hiking through a forest. The smell fills the air as the lentils boil. Many times other people along the trail will stop and ask us what smells so good.
